So, you want or need a new kitchen, but are unsure of where to begin. Many uninformed homeowners may think that a new kitchen or bath requires them to demolish the entire area and begin from scratch. But this a misconception, and unfortunately, sometimes a misinformed decision can be a costly one.
The truth is that most of the time, the cabinets themselves are in excellent condition. It is only the finish that is old. Cabinet refinishing is the process of transforming your existing cabinets from what you see now to what you envision your space to look like.
Refinishing companies, like N.C. Finest Cabinetry can help your vision come true because that is what we do. Why renovate your entire kitchen or bath and spend thousands of dollars when wood cabinet refinishing will achieve the same results at a fraction of the cost?

How does the refinishing process work?
- First, we remove all the cabinet doors and drawers and take them to our production facility. This will ensure the job is professionally done and keep the mess to a minimum around your home.
- The refinishing portion of the cabinet frame is completed at your home. Our professionals will take special care around countertops and appliances.
- At our production facility, we strip the old finish from every cabinet door. We ensure that there is no residue of wax, varnish, or paint left.
- Once the finish stripping is complete, we prepare the surface with brushing, sanding, wiping, and other cleaning procedures.
- The final step of the process is applying your selection of finish. We offer a wide range of colors and stains.
However, there may be instances when you do not want a refinishing job done. This may apply to vintage and antique items. At NC Finest Cabinetry, we have you covered there as well.
